The founder of Calculus??

One of the fundamentals of Engineering is an understanding and appreciation of Calculus. Of course we all have to thank Newton for this. Or do we? It turns out that a school of mathematics and astronomy in Kerala, South India, between the 14th and 16th centuries had the basis for Calculus figured out. Some 250 years before Newton.
